As an Education Wellbeing Coach, Chair of two school Boards, member of the NZSTA Regional Exec Board, Māmā and nature school coordinator, I know our children are facing unprecedented stress, overwhelm, depression and other challenges, and I love to awhi our teachers and families to better support our children.
Coaching is such a magic combination of feeling heard, scientific evidence, and being inspired. When you’ve got someone walking the journey with you, pulling you through the lows and cheering you on when you succeed, you’re going to make sustainable change. As an Educational Wellbeing Coach, I am passionate about supporting school communities to increase the health and mental health outcomes of our children.
I believe a team approach to wellbeing captures that magic of coaching and all the beauty of whanaungatanga, peer support, and drawing on each others strengths. Mental Health Coaches work for our children and teachers, to be scaffold support for better wellbeing outcomes.
I’m a qualified health coach with certificates in nutrition, coaching, mental health, empowered eating, digital coaching, education and physical health. I’m based in the sunny Eastern Bay.
I’m a founding member of F L A X (Mental Health Coaches in Education NZ) because I am passionate about supporting our tamariki in their wellbeing.
